But I Chose You

BUT I CHOSE YOU

“You did not choose Me,

BUT I CHOSE YOU

and appointed you

that you should go and bear fruit,

and that your fruit should remain,

that whatever you ask the Father in My name

He may give you”. (Jn15:16)

“…Who has saved us,

and called us with an holy calling,

not according to our works,

but according to his own purpose and grace,

which was given us in Christ Jesus

before the world began,”. (2Tim1:8-9)

“And we know that all things work together for good

to them that love God,

to them who are

the called

according to his purpose.

For whom he did foreknow,

he also did predestinate

to be conformed to the image of his Son

that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover whom he did predestinate,

them he also called:

and whom he called,

them he also justified:

and whom he justified,

them he also glorified.

What shall we then say to these things?

If God be for us,

who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son…

…for us…

shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Rom8:28-32)

“The LORD has been mindful of us:” (Ps115:12)

“he that touches you touches the apple of his eye” (Zech2:8)

“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands.” (Isa49:16)

“He has chosen us

in him

before the foundation of the world,

that we should be holy

and without blame

before him in love:

Having predestinated us

unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself,

according to the good pleasure of his will” (Eph1:4-5)

“For we are his workmanship,

created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Eph2:10)

“Being confident of this very thing,

that HE which has begun a good work in you

will perform it

until the day of Jesus Christ:”. (Phil1:6)

“For it is God which works in you both to will

and to do

of his good pleasure.” (Phil2:13)

“We love him,

BECAUSE

HE FIRST

loved us.” (1Jn4:19)
