AntiChrist Spirit


 


“…the spirit of the ANTICHRIST, 

which you have heard is coming, 

and now it is already in the world.” (1John 4:3)

 

People are not necessarily anti-Jesus.  

 

They believe He is the Son of God, born in a manger, heralded by angels, worked as a carpenter, performed many miracles, and eventually was crucified as a sacrifice for our sin.  

 

However, we have lost the essence of the power and meaning behind “CHRIST".  

 

It has been watered down and almost washed away, relegating the term to simply the last name of Jesus.

 

BUT… HE IS THE CHRIST!

 

“CHRIST" is a word intended to paint a picture of all that is encompassed by “THE MESSIAH"

 

Andrew told Peter, “’We have found the Messiah’ (which is translated, the Christ)” (Jn 1:41)

 

It is CHRIST, the Anointed One, the Messiah, The Savior, The Deliverer. The Redeemer, The Healer. The King of Kings and Lord of lords who has come in the flesh!

 

We are no different from the Jews… still looking for a Messiah (CHRIST)… someone to save us.

We say, “oh, Jesus, please come… deliver me and take away the pain”.

 

THE MESSIAH CAME.

 

HE ALREADY BORE OUR SIN, SICKNESS AND PAIN!. (Isa 53)… and BY HIS STRIPES … WE… WERE… HEALED…. (1Peter 2:24)

 

WE HAVE BEEN SAVED!  (sozo – delivered, healed, get on well, prospered, made whole)

 

IT IS FINISHED!!!

 

“…Every spirit that confesseth not that JESUS CHRIST is come in the flesh is not of God: 

and this is that spirit of ANTI - CHRIST…” (1John 4:2-3)

 

“… I travail in birth again 

until CHRIST

(The Messiah) 

be formed in you” (Gal 4:19)

…until YOU COME into the fulness of the stature of…

CHRIST (THE MESSIAH) Christ. (Eph 4:13)

 

The Jews expect The Messiah will someday come and set up His kingdom.

 

“Behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Lk 17:21)

 

John 14:20 “… I am in My Father, 

and you are in Me, 

and I in you.”

 

“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1John 4:4)

 

Col 1:27  CHRIST…  

THE MESSIAH… 

IN YOU,

the hope of glory!

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
