Intercessory Prayer

  INTERCESSORY PRAYER   What is “ INTERCESSORY PRAYER ”?   Over the years it has morphed into something unrecognizable from what was written in the Word of God. Our evolving religious traditions have rendered it progressively ineffective and powerless, conforming it into a title, position, or ministry… serving our own egos in order to acquire what WE desire from the Lord…   BUT… let's take a look at what scripture says about INTERCESSION.   1Tim2:1 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, INTERCESSIONS and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”   1Tim4:4-5 “…nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and PRAYER. ”   The word translated as “INTERCESSION” and “PRAYER” in the above verses is: Enteuxis – translated as a petition, supplication, prayer, or intercession; and is a combination of two Greek words: 1.         " en" – ...

ACKNOWLEDGE HIM

  Acknowledge HIM   Pr3:6 “In all your ways ACKNOWLEDGE HIM and HE will direct your paths”   ACKNOWLEDGE is translated from a form of the word “YADA” , which is used 943 times throughout the Old Testament to express some facet of: “ to know”.     Just to give you a hint at the depth of meaning for “YADA”… "Adam KNEW   (YADA) Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain…” (Gen4:1,9,17,25)   It is a word intended to paint a picture in the heart or reader’s mind of an intimate and absolute knowledge which enables and produces life within that relationship. It means: to perceive and know of a surety.   How shall KNOW that I will inherit it?
